To study ultra-hydrophilic surfaces, imaginary contact angle measurements have evolved into a powerful technique.Tensiometers of the DCAT series from DataPhysics Instrument sare the only measuring systems so far which feature a reliable and reproducible imaginary contact angle determination in their software. In this application this method is presented on samples of UV and plasma treated dental implants.
